90 Day Fiance’s Eric and Leida Mourn Death of Newborn Daughter

90 Day Fiancé alum Eric Rosenbrook and Leida Margaretha are in mourning after the death of their baby girl.

“It destroys me and shatters my world to announce that over the weekend tragedy has struck,” Eric, 47, wrote via Facebook on Thursday, July 10. “Yesterday at 12:53 PM after 5 days on life support, my beloved daughter, little Alisa Eleanor Rosenbrook, slipped the surely bonds to join her grandfather Tom.”

The reality star said he will not be commenting further as he begins the grieving process.

“I do not want well wishes or questions,” he said. “I will not answer anything, read or reply. I ask just for prayers for her.”

As for Leida, 36, she seemingly deleted her Instagram account, but not before asking for prayers for her daughter.

“Dear God… You can take away my life but do not take away my daughter’s life…” Leida reportedly wrote on Saturday, July 5. “She just born… And God… If this is going to be my lesson to appreciate life since I’ve been struggling with suicidal thoughts then take away my trauma… Help. Me. Find. Peace. Help. Me. Forgive.”

The death of baby Alisa comes after Eric was arrested for domestic battery and domestic disorderly conduct in Adams, Wisconsin.

According to court documents viewed by Us Weekly, Eric was represented by a public defender during a hearing on Monday, July 7. He pleaded not guilty to both charges.

The criminal complaint, obtained by Us, listed the alleged victim as “LM.” Police said she later identified herself as Eric’s wife.

In response to the arrest, Eric told TMZ that he and his wife got into a fight about the amount of alcohol he was consuming. He said Leida was holding their daughter at the time but claimed he didn’t make contact with their child.

He also confirmed the pair are no longer together after the alleged altercation. (Us has reached out to Eric for comment.)

Eric and Leida first appeared on 90 Day Fiancé season 6, which aired in 2018. Viewers watched as Eric met his future wife on an international dating site. Despite Leida being over 10 years his junior, Eric fell in love.

During the season, Leida was unhappy that Eric spent so much time and money on his role as a father to his three kids from a previous relationship.

She reportedly filed for divorce last year, but it’s unclear if the split was ever finalized.
