90 Day Fiancé alum Eric Rosenbrook’s estranged wife, Leida Margaretha, filed for a restraining order and used photos of her alleged injuries in court before the death of their newborn daughter, Us Weekly can exclusively report.

On Monday, July 7, Margaretha asked the court for protection against Rosenbrook. She claimed on June 21 that he came home from two weeks out of work. She told him his dog needed to leave because it had bitten her and caused severe damage to her fingers.

Margaretha said Rosenbrook went into a rage, which led to him verbally and physically abusing her. She included alleged screenshots from security camera footage showing the incident.

In her filing, she also noted that another “physical incident” happened on July 4. The court granted a temporary restraining order the same day. A hearing has been set for later this month.

According to the criminal complaint obtained by Us, prosecutors charged Rosenbrook with misdemeanor battery and misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

The complaint claims Rosenbrook committed the crimes on July 4. Police responded to a residence due to a call from an individual with the initials “LM.”

The woman said Rosenbrook, whom she identified as her husband, had been drinking.

He reportedly told her, “Bitch, this is me celebrating Independence Day, so shut up” after she asked him to stop drinking. She said he left to go to Kwik Trip to get food for dinner.

She said she was concerned due to him taking a long time and went outside. She said she saw Rosenbrook “passed out in the driver’s seat of her white Audi A6.”

She said she banged on the door to wake him up, but he did not respond.

The report said she went back inside to grab her phone because when Rosenbrook “drinks too much he claims he doesn’t remember what happens” and she “wanted to record him.”

She said Rosebrook eventually woke up, and they went back into the apartment. She said Rosenbrook tried to pick up their newborn daughter, but she intervened due to “his level of [intoxication].”

The alleged victim said she told Rosenbrook to stop drinking, which led to him slapping her with an open right hand. She said she was “scared” and left the home. Officers observed slight redness on her check.

Rosenbrook’s wife said the apartment was hers and that she moved there to get away from Rosenbrook. The report said the couple share one daughter.

The alleged victim said she married Rosenbrook in 2018, and they had one child. She accused him of being verbally abusive in the past, but it had been increasing. She said Rosenbrook has a “history of alcohol abuse.”

The following day, officers made contact with Rosenbrook, who was parked in a parking lot. Rosenbrook told people he might’ve slapped her.

The officer noted they observed a strong odor of an “intoxicant” coming from Rosenbrook’s breath while speaking with him. He was asked if he was willing to complete a field sobriety test but said “not really.”

Rosenbrook was placed under arrest at the scene after they found alcohol in his car. “Rosenbrook possessed a half-full ‘CutWater, Lemon drop martini’ in the car.”

Rosenbrook spoke to Us about the claims. He denied getting physical during the June incident but admitted he and his wife got into a fight on July 4. He admitted to hitting her. He said Margaretha was holding their daughter at the time but was adamant he didn’t make contact or hurt his daughter. Rosenbrook told Us he and Margaretha broke up following the incident.

As Us previously reported, Rosenbrook and Margaretha announced their child died this week.
