Ally Lewber isn’t dating following her split from James Kennedy — but she’s not ruling out a summer fling.

“I feel like at this point, I’m not ready [to date],” Ally, 29, said during the Monday, July 28, episode of Gia Giudice’s “Casual Chaos” podcast.

Gia, 24, praised Ally for doing “all the right things” following her split from James, 33, earlier this year.

“You’ve taken your time to heal. You’re in therapy, you’re really just taking your time, and you just had an amazing vacation in Italy,” Gia said. “So you’re checking everything off the list.”

Ally revealed that she “did have a little fling in Italy” during a recent trip, but it didn’t go anywhere serious.

“That’s over now. I’m just, kind of, having fun and living life,” Ally continued. “I don’t see myself doing dating apps or anything. I’m bad enough at texting my mom back. So that probably isn’t for me. I’m really just focused on my career and friendships.”

Ally announced in a January Instagram Stories post that she and James had split. The two had taken space from each other after he was arrested in December 2024 on misdemeanor domestic violence charges following an incident that occurred outside their Los Angeles home. The charges against James were dropped one day before Ally revealed that they had called it quits.

“Thank you all for your support and kindness. I am happy that prosecutors decided not to file against James, as I never desired criminal charges,” she shared on January 22. “We had an argument outside of his home related to him drinking again, however, I was not physically hurt.”

Ally concluded, “We are no longer together, but I’ll always support James and wish him the best with his sobriety and healing. Thank you for your understanding.”

During Monday’s podcast episode, Ally told Gia “the freedom is real” as a single woman.

“I poured so much into that relationship. I mean, he poured a lot into me too. “I feel like we … I know it doesn’t look good, but we had a pretty healthy relationship for [the] majority,” Ally said. “I just poured so much into that, that it’s also like, I’m not ready to, like, give my energy to someone else yet. This is my energy. [I’m] not ready to, like, go there.”

She added, “The grass is always greener. And also, being in a relationship is amazing. Being single is amazing. I would just enjoy whatever.”
