Anne Hathaway got candid about spending time with her husband, Adam Shulman, and their kids when she is not working.

In her August Vogue cover, published on Monday, July 7, writer Maya Singer said “leisure-wise,” Hathaway, 42, loves “hanging out” with Shulman, 44, and their children, Jonathan, 8, and Jack, 4.

“Uno games, baking when there’s time, teaching the kids to dribble a basketball in the apartment without upsetting the neighbors,” Hathway shared with the outlet.

Singer said that she believes that a lot of Hathaway’s life is “mediated through her phone” because of how busy she is, but when the Princess Diaries actress is home, she is “so, so grateful [her] husband is a great cook and an early riser.”

Later on in the interview, Bradley Cooper shared that he “fell in love” with both Hathaway and Shulman when they started hanging out during the COVID-19 pandemic with all their kids. (Cooper, 50, shares daughter Lea with ex Irina Shayk.)

“We started hanging out as parents, having dance parties with children in my kitchen, and I fell in love with both of them,” Cooper explained, noting that their marriage is “an emblem for that kind of commitment” and that they “enrich” each other.

Hathaway and Shulman tied the knot in 2012 and welcomed son Jonathan in 2016 and son Jack in 2019.

The award-winning actress has previously talked about how she felt “fully landed and fully here” after becoming a mom.

“It’s not like I was lacking integrity, but it made me want to be completely, on every level, true to my word,” she shared in an interview with WSJ Magazine in March 2022. “And that meant stopping any nonsense that I had going on inside myself. And it’s little breaks that you give yourself sometimes when you know that you’re not being your best self.”

Hathaway noted that there is a “tendency to portray getting pregnant, having kids in one light, as if it’s all positive.”

“But I know from my own experience it’s so much more complicated than that,” she explained.
