Bachelor in Paradise season 10 may have come to a close, but the drama has continued offscreen.
The two-part podcast reunion kicked off on Thursday, September 4, with an update from the final 16 contestants — Kat Izzo and Dale Moss, Kathy Swarts and Keith Gordon, Jess Edwards and Spencer Conley, Bailey Brown and Jeremy Simon and Alexe Godin and Andrew Spencer, Brian Autz and Parisa Shifteh, Jonathon Johnson and Lea Cayanan, Allyshia Gupta and Sean McLaughlin — on where they stand now after leaving the beaches of Costa Rica.
While several of the couples are still going strong — Jess exclusively told Us Weekly that she’s moving to Dallas to be with Spencer after their engagement! — others have since parted ways. Sean and Allyshia shared that they had a “good run” with their relationship, while Brian and Parisa revealed that they are “still good, close friends” but are no longer romantically involved.

2 Splits

Sean and Allyshia revealed that they have since gone their separate ways, noting that their careers and distance were a factor. “We did walk away with the best of friends. Very happy to leave Paradise with that,” Sean said.
Brian and Parisa shared a similar sentiment. Parisa explained that the pair have “different schedules” but “tried” to make their romance work before waving “the white flag.” She added, “I think, also, too I wanted something different in a relationship compared to what Brian wanted. Nothing wrong with that, I think a lot of this comes down to compatibility.”
A New Boyfriend

While Parisa closed her chapter with Brian, she shared that she’s now “seeing someone” else. Brian laughed, while asking, “What’s his name?” Parisa remained tight-lipped on further details of her new boyfriend.
Going Strong

Many of the couples are still pursuing their romantic connections, with Andrew gushing that his relationship with Alexe has been “going really well.” Kat and Dale shared that they are looking forward to building a romance as “strong and as tight as possible.”
While engaged Jess and Spencer are excited about being able to date in public, Jeremy and Bailey admitted that they had been hitting the streets in disguises.
The Infamous Jeremy and Susie Phone Call

It wouldn’t be a reunion without discussing the season’s major moments, which includes Jeremy’s infamous phone call to Susie Evans asking her to return to Paradise — and Bailey not finding out until days later when Brian informed her.
While fans have questioned why other members of the cast didn’t come forward and tell Bailey about the phone call, Spencer defended their decision.
“Here’s what I will say. When we’re on the beach, there are rumors that travel around about anything and everything all day, every day. There are rumors of new people coming, there are rumors of this person kissed that person, this person said this to that person. If all of us spent all of our time taking it upon ourselves to go and let everyone know about all of the rumors about them … You’re wrong 90 percent of the time, second off, you’re focused on your person and your connection,” Spencer said. “This whole misnomer online of it being everyone else’s responsibility to go and do something is a little frustrating.”
While Bailey acknowledged that “the first person” who should have told her about the phone call was Jeremy, she said it was “hard” for her to see “certain people’s actions after the fact.”
When asked what made her upset now, Bailey noted her feelings were “hurt” when Andrew addressed the situation on social media. (He wrote via X at the time, “Also funny that yall are tripping about us not telling Bailey about a phone call that we have no context to but OK [with] the fact she didnt tell Parisa that Brian was the one who asked her to go on secret rendezvous when she had no context to his intentions yet.”)
Andrew defended his decision to share a statement on social media, noting that Alexe was “destroyed” — and he was upset Jeremy didn’t “take accountability” for his actions. “Bro, you never talked to her. What time did you text her?” Andrew asked, while Jeremy alleged that he had been “taking accountability both publicly and privately.”
Alexe claimed that she reached out to Jeremy and had “owned up to it” before the episode aired, apologizing to Bailey “multiple times.”
Lots of Tears

Bailey became emotional as she shared the “hate” she received this season has been “really, really horrible.” She added, “My friends who have been there for me know that I have been keeping to myself because it has been really hard to process it all.”
Wells subsequently pointed out that Alexe has been receiving “a lot of heat” online for not telling Bailey, who was her roommate, about the phone call. While rehashing the phone call, Bailey became emotional again saying she was “hurt” because she thought Alexe had her “back.”
“Anyone who knows me knows that unfortunately Paradise was not an amazing experience for me,” Bailey said through tears. “Every single day I was not in a good mental health headspace.”
Part 2 of the reunion airs exclusively on the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast on Friday, September 5. Both episodes can be streamed on the Bachelor Nation YouTube channel on Saturday, September 6.
