Below Deck‘s Kyle Stillie hinted that he “got away with something” after being investigated — and cleared — for allegedly hooking up with a guest.

During the Monday, August 18, episode of the hit Bravo show, Kyle was still upset he had to explain away his “joke” about sleeping with a former guest, Helen Hoey. The deckhand avoided the new group of guests after Kerry gave him another chance on St. David.

The end of the episode showed Kyle drinking before a crew night out. While enjoying their meal, Kyle delivered a toast that didn’t sit well with everyone.

“It has been an absolute pleasure. I am glad I am still with you guys,” he told the group. “Sometimes you get away with things in life and I am really proud I got away with something I wasn’t meant to get away with.”

'Below Deck' Star Kyle's Conflicting Comments About the Guest Hookup Rumors

Kyle specifically took a dig at chief steward Fraser Olender. “I really thought that Fraser would have really done me in,” he added, before blaming Fraser and deckhand Damo Yorg for making him own up to his jokes, which nearly caused Kyle to get fired.

Fraser wasn’t thrilled to be blamed for Kyle’s mistake.

“I am not playing this game. I am pissed off. If anyone needs to be held accountable, it is Stillie himself. All this blame was directed here when actually it is directed here,” Fraser said, before refusing to be filmed by the camera crew. “I am not being villainized again. At this point, I am done.”

The drama originally started when the season 12 trailer premiered in April, where Bravo viewers saw Kyle potentially hooking up with a guest at the beach in full view of his coworkers. He seemingly lied about the sexual encounter, but Kyle has since left his crew — and Us — confused after continuing to joke about the incident.

“Was it a joke?” he playfully told producers in last week’s episode. “I f***ing really thought I was a goner. [I would have] given Helen a call.”

Kyle didn’t make the situation any easier for himself on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.

Why Was There 'Below Deck' Drama After Kyle Slept With a Married Guest?

“No, I definitely did not [hook up with her]. I will be honest with you. There was a point in time where I was in that sea where I thought potentially something may have happened. But nothing happened,” he said earlier this month. “Just because she was very much inciting. I was trying to keep it professional and she was moving my hands toward her chest. There was a point where I was slightly aroused.”

Kyle promised that he didn’t expose himself. “Not at all. If [my d***] was out, you would not have missed it,” he quipped. “It is not my most proud moment. I don’t know why I said it.”

Before the investigation was addressed on screen, Fraser told Us that “things were turbulent” already on St. David before Kyle’s possible hookup.

“I’ve done it before, so I can’t speak on [hooking up with a guest]. What is a hard no is on charter and what is a hard no is potentially engaging in something whilst their married significant other is also around,” Fraser teased in May. “It was definitely [the most explosive thing I have been a part of]. Because this situation then was the catalyst of so many other problems. And this really did spiral into something that no one saw coming. So it’s the beginning of the end. It’s so good though.”

Below Deck airs on Bravo Mondays at 8 p.m. ET. New episodes stream the next day on Peacock.
