Big Brother fans shouldn’t expect to see Julie Chen Moonves walk away from hosting the program any time soon.

When asked by Entertainment Weekly if she had any intention of retiring from the show, Chen Moonves, 55, gave a pretty iconic answer.

“You know what? This is a game of chicken. As long as [Jeff] Probst and [Phil] Keoghan are there, so am I,” she responded during a Wednesday, July 9, interview with the outlet.

Chen Moonves has been hosting Big Brother on CBS since season 1 aired in 2000. Similarly, Probst, 63, has been hosting Survivor since 2000, while Keoghan started hosting The Amazing Race on the network in 2001.

“I’m not a quitter,” Chen Moonves continued about her future on the show. “The Chenbot can hold her own. I can give the Energizer Bunny a run for its money.”

She is gearing up to host the upcoming season 27 of Big Brother — a job she simply does not want to let go of.

“I can’t imagine Big Brother without me,” she said. “It’s kind of like we go hand in hand. I’m part of the show from season 1 and part of building it up.”

Chen Moonves also explained that she did not “want to see someone else host Survivor or Amazing Race either.”

Longtime fans of the three CBS competition series would have to agree. Chen Mooves brings charisma and her signature catchphrases to the table with every new season of Big Brother she hosts.

“Can you imagine someone else delivering ‘But first …’ or ‘Love one another,’ or, ‘Expect the unexpected,’ or, ‘The power is up for grabs’? I don’t think so,” she said about her beloved catchphrases.

Chen Moonves recently unveiled the new Big Brother season 27 house, named “Hotel Mystère.”

The house has been “transformed into a suspense-filled hotel, complete with secrets, hidden passageways and a mysterious vibe that sets the stage for a summer of intrigue,” per a press release.

Additionally, CBS released the names of the houseguests who will be competing this season and teased a mystery player, whose identity has not yet been revealed. The Big Brother Instagram account has been dropping hints about who the mystery player is, including a photo of a wooden hat and a nine of hearts playing card.

After the photo was posted, many fans began theorizing that Vanessa Rousso, a poker player who often wears hats, might be returning to the game as the mystery player. Vanessa competed on season 17 of Big Brother, coming in third place.

“I hope it’s Vanessa!! She was the 9th juror, 17th season and possible 17th houseguest, poker player, and had a hat like that,” one person commented on the photo, while another said, “The card and the hat…. VANESSA.”

Big Brother season 27 premieres on CBS on Thursday, July 10, at 8 p.m. ET.
