Big Brother alum Tyler Crispen is engaged, and he’s finally ready to introduce his fiancée to the world.
The Big Brother 20 runner-up posted a video via his YouTube channel on Thursday, August 14, in which he introduced the mystery woman — her name is Emily, but Tyler, 30, calls her Emmy — to fans who have been clamoring to know what’s been going on since we saw him last on Big Brother All-Stars.
“We’ve kept our relationship off of social media for a long time,” he wrote via Instagram in a carousel of pics teasing the video. Each slide showed a different milestone in their relationship, from their first date to getting matching tattoos, getting pregnant, their engagement and more.
“We kept all the good times to ourselves,” he concluded. “Now today, on this random Thursday, we decided…f**k it. Meet my fiancée. Video out on my YouTube channel. Link in bio.”

Big Brother alumni showed their support in the comments, with season 21’s Kathryn Dunn writing, “I love this!! so happy for you.”
Season 26 runner-up Makensy Manbeck chimed in with, “SHE’S STUNNINGGG!!!!! So happy for yall!”

As far as the 38-minute YouTube video goes, it begins with just Tyler and his daughter, Carter, 7 months. Tyler introduced Carter to the world in January, surprising fans via Instagram with the announcement and the nugget that he is engaged, though he didn’t reveal any more details at the time.

Using the YouTube video to answer fan questions, he addressed the first, asking if he would show his fiancée’s face. At that point, Emily entered the frame with a simple “hi.” Then, with Carter crying in the background, they discussed how they were “in hiding” before suddenly deciding to go public with their relationship.
Tyler placed sixth on Big Brother 22, the second All-Stars season, two years after his runner-up finish to Kaycee Clark in Big Brother 20. At the time, he was engaged to fellow season 20 houseguest Angela Rummans. The two met in the Big Brother house in 2018 and bought a home together in South Carolina, where Tyler is from, in 2021.
They eventually split in December 2022, but Tyler told Us Weekly exclusively at the time that the pair would remain friends.
“I am not a big believer in burning bridges because she was such a big part of my life and I don’t want to have to look back on those memories and have a sour taste in my mouth,” he explained. “She’ll always have a special place with me, and I think she knows that. I think maintaining a friendship with his exes is OK, everybody. It can work out.”
