Bachelor in Paradise’s Kat Izzo is doubling down on her intentions with Dale Moss amid claims she had a secret offscreen boyfriend.
In a photo shared via Kat’s Instagram Story on Tuesday, August 19, Dale, 36, placed his hands around her waist as the pair smiled for the camera. She set the picture to Taylor Swift’s “Call It What You Want.”
The image was uploaded hours after fellow season 10 contestant Allyshia Gupta claimed on the Tuesday episode of “The Viall Files” podcast that Kat was “not an honest person.” Allyshia, 30, alleged that she and Sean McLaughlin had a “conversation” with his friend in Tampa, Florida — who was apparently Kat’s former boyfriend.
“Her boyfriend at the time, he’s like, ‘You won’t believe who ended up screwing me over.’ He fills us in [and] she’s been sending him love letters since day one in Paradise,” Allyshia claimed. “She snuck her iPad in, she was sending things to get him through, like, ‘This will last you until I get back out of Paradise,’ and, like, that’s crazy.”

Host Nick Viall claimed he wasn’t aware about the iPad, but had been informed by a friend who “had some things to say about Kat” that she made alleged attempts at communicating with an offscreen boyfriend.
“I heard she somehow wrote some messages on her arm for him,” Nick said, while Allyshia added that she “wouldn’t pick Kat” as someone to spend time with. Allyshia noted, “She doesn’t tell the truth.”
Us Weekly reached out to Kat for comment at the time.
During the Monday, August 19, episode of Bachelor in Paradise, Kat found herself in the middle of drama with Sean after questioning his “character and integrity and trust” over conversations about eliminations — leading to an argument about their friendship. While Sean alleged he was “coming to her defense” before, he claimed to have seen Kat’s “true colors” now.

“She’s everything that everybody thinks she is,” Sean said in a confessional. “Everything you have seen from Bachelor in Paradise, from Zach [Shallcross]’ season, from what you’re seeing right now, is who she is as a person. She doesn’t give a f*** about anybody else but herself, and that shows.”
After the incident, Dale quickly came to Kat’s defense — which she said made her feel “so protected, so taken care of.” The couple went on to share a smooch before Kat handed him a rose at the rose ceremony. Sean and Allyshia ultimately sent themselves home before host Jesse Palmer revealed which couple was eliminated.
“Sean and I came into paradise looking for love,” Allyshia said. “We didn’t know what else it was going to entail, and the one thing we’re not willing to compromise is our character and integrity. And to have that questioned is very difficult to hear, but we would like to make the decision to leave together on our own accord.”
She continued, “We are leaving here with something so much more valuable than money can ever buy, and we’ll continue our relationship back in Tampa and get a big fat bucket of popcorn to watch this all back.”

As Allyshia and Sean began to walk out of the rose ceremony, he added, “I think you guys just voted off the strongest couple here. … Dale I love you, but Kat, don’t call me crying after this one ends.” Kat appeared confused by Sean’s claim as Dale added with a smile, “That’s wild behavior, bro.”
Allyshia continued in a confessional that Kat is “an absolute joke of a human being,” adding that she “can’t wait for karma to come full circle.” Sean alleged that he would have “died” for Kat before that night, claiming that Dale is now going to leave her once the show ends. “If you cross me, I hold a grudge,” he warned in a confessional. “So watch out.”
Bachelor in Paradise airs on ABC Mondays at 8 p.m. ET.
