Blake Lively and her legal team are being accused of going after a small-time content creator who covered her legal battle with Justin Baldoni. And now, the creator is fighting back in court, Us Weekly can report.

On Tuesday, July 20, YouTuber Kassidy O’Connell wrote a letter to the judge presiding over Lively’s lawsuit against Baldoni and his company, Wayfarer Studios.

She alleged that Lively’s team issued subpoenas to Google over Kassidy. The YouTuber claimed the subpoenas were improperly issued. “There is no evidence or sound legal basis whatsoever to have issued this subpoena in the first place,” the docs state.

Kassidy wrote, “On what legal basis were these subpoenas issued out of this court? Was ANY evidence at all presented to validate them or is [Lively] free to submit just any subpoena to anyone that is not her fan?”

She added, “[Lively] has been gratuitously allowed to extend her witch hunt for discovery, in which she has no evidence to support.”

Kassidy attached the alleged subpoena sent to Google demanding answers about her account. The YouTuber said the subpoena was “unduly burdensome” and meant to “harass and intimidate.”

The content creator claimed that disclosure of her information “threatens serious harm to” her privacy. She said she intends to seek sanctions in the court battle.

Blake Lively’s Lawyers Seeking Justin Baldoni’s Financial Records

In a separate filing, Baldoni’s lawyers revealed a series of alleged subpoenas Lively’s team sent to various other content creators, which reportedly includes YouTuber McKenzie Folks, which asked for credit card or bank account information from each account if premium services were utilized for the account.

A rep for Lively Us, “Subpoenas are not accusations of wrongdoing. They are tools for gathering admissible evidence in federal court. There is no silencing of content creators, they are obviously making their views known. This is a sexual harassment and retaliation lawsuit against Justin Baldoni and a number of other Wayfarer defendants and we are simply seeking information to aid in our fact gathering.”

“Remember [Baldoni’s crisis PR rep’s] own words: to shield Justin Baldoni from the possibility that Blake Lively might publicly reveal he sexually harassed her and others, [Baldoni’s rep] planned an “untraceable” media campaign designed to “bury” Ms. Lively,” the rep added. “The subpoenas to social media companies are one piece of the puzzle to connect the evidentiary dots of a campaign that was designed to leave no fingerprints.”

As Us previously reported, Lively and Baldoni’s legal drama over their film It Ends With Us started when the Gossip Girl star sued in December 2024. She accused him of creating a hostile work environment and sexual harassment.

She said she raised the issues to the team during production. Lively, 37, accused Baldoni of hiring a crisis PR team to smear her in retaliation to her complaints.

Baldoni, 41, denied all allegations of wrongdoing or that he hired a crisis team to take Lively down publicly. He accused Lively — with the help of her husband Ryan Reynolds — of seizing control of the film after production wrapped.

He claimed she iced him out and convinced the studio to release her cut of the film. Last month, Baldoni’s lawsuit was dismissed against Lively.

As Us previously reported, Lively’s deposition in the case was recently postponed. The actress will now be grilled on July 31 after reaching a deal with Baldoni’s team, according to TMZ. The trial date in the case is set for March 9, 2026.
