Brooklyn Beckham has a lot of love for sister Harper Beckham, despite his ongoing family feud.
“Happy birthday Harper,” Brooklyn, 26, captioned an Instagram Story post on Thursday, July 10. “We love u x.”
Brooklyn tagged his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, in the photo and she was quick to repost his story. The image shared to celebrate Harper’s 14th birthday featured Brooklyn and Nicola, 30, smiling as Harper stood in between them. Harper is the youngest child and only daughter of David and Victoria Beckham. (Along with Brooklyn and Harper, they are also parents to Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 20.)

The Instagram Story post comes amid tension among the Beckham family. Rumors of a rift between Brooklyn and the rest of his family started after his and Nicola’s 2022 wedding. At the time, several reports claimed that Nicola and Victoria, 51, didn’t get along. Nicola attempted to shut down rumors of any tension between herself and her mother-in-law at the time. (A source told Us Weekly exclusively in May that there is “bad blood” between Nicola and Victoria, and their drama has led to the ongoing feud.)

However, Brooklyn and Nicola continued to add fuel to the tension rumors earlier this year when they skipped out on David’s 50th birthday party.
“Creating special memories with family and friends. We love you all,” David captioned a May 4 Instagram post, which featured a photo with Victoria, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.
Brooklyn and Nicola were noticeably absent from the image. A separate source told Us exclusively that same month that the couple “have not been in touch” with members of the family.
Neither Brooklyn and Nicola nor David and Victoria have publicly addressed the feud thus far.

“There hasn’t been any sort of resolution from either side,” the same source told Us in May. At the time, Brooklyn took a “quick” trip to the U.K. but did not reach out to his family. The same insider noted that he “didn’t want to deal with it.”
“Brooklyn is trying to let things go right now and is giving everyone space,” the source continued, noting that he and Nicola are “just doing their own thing” for now. “They have their own separate lives and have been carrying on for now.”
Late last month, Brooklyn made headlines for sharing a tribute on father-in-law Nelson Peltz’s birthday after skipping dad David’s milestone celebration.
“Happy birthday Nelson x,” Brooklyn wrote via Instagram on June 24. “We love you.”
