Just weeks before the start of the regular season, a new power couple has potentially entered the NFL universe.
Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert and pop star Madison Beer were spotted together on the set of her upcoming music video on Sunday, August 17, in pictures obtained by Us Weekly.
The 6-foot-6 Herbert, 27, towered over Beer, 26, on the Los Angeles set, as the pair smiled and chatted in between takes.
Beer introduced the football star to members of the music video’s crew before the duo left together in Herbert’s car.

Us Weekly has reached out to representatives for Herbert and Beer about their relationship status.
Herbert, who was drafted by the Chargers in 2020, has mostly kept his dating life private. The quarterback was previously linked to NFL Network’s Taylor Bisciotti, but the two never confirmed their relationship.
Beer, whose third studio album, MB3, is expected to be released later this year, has previously been linked to Vine star and musician Jack Gilinsky, Brooklyn Beckham, producer Zack Bia, YouTube star David Dobrik and, most recently, TikTok star Nick Austin.
In a since-deleted Instagram post in March 2021, Austin, 25, celebrated Beer’s birthday, calling her “the love of my life, my best friend, my dream girl, my soulmate.”
“Every day with you feels like I’m dreaming, which I might be,” Austin added. “I love you. Forever n ever n ever <3.”
It is not clear when Beer and Austin broke up.

While Beer preps the release of her album, Herbert is gearing up for his sixth season with the Chargers.
The quarterback saw his first action of the preseason on Saturday, August 16, against the Los Angeles Rams. Herbert went 2-for-5 for 46 yards during his only drive.
Throughout training camp, Herbert has been impressed with the Chargers’ crop of rookie receivers, including Tre’ Harris and KeAndre Lambert-Smith.
“They’ve made a bunch of plays,” Herbert told reporters earlier this month. “We’ve asked them to do a lot, we’re asking those guys to fill in and play multiple positions and they’ve done a great job picking up the offense. They just go out there and make plays, they continue to get two feet inbounds and adapt to the NFL. It’s been really fun to see.”
The Chargers close out their preseason schedule on Saturday, August 23, against the San Francisco 49ers, before opening the regular season in Brazil against the Kansas City Chiefs on September 5.
