Dax Shepard Shares Naked Photo of Wife Kristen Bell

Dax Shepard is paying tribute to wife Kristen Bell in the wake of her 2025 Emmy nomination — every inch of her, in fact.

The “Armchair Expert” podcast host, 50, took to Instagram on Tuesday, July 15, to share a naked photo of Bell, 44, just a few hours after her very first Emmy nod arrived thanks to her onscreen work in Netflix’s Nobody Wants This.

“People might not know everything that happens behind the scenes in order to create an Emmy nominated performance like Kristen’s,” Shepard captioned the snap. “This may or may not have been a part of her training, but it felt right. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!”

The photo showed Bell, who is nominated in the category of Best Comedy Actress, doing a handstand sans clothing except for a pair of blue socks pulled up to the knees. Shepard placed a red modesty box over his wife’s bottom to ensure she wasn’t entirely exposed before tagging Bell into the cheeky post.

Bell, who stars as Joanne opposite Adam Brody’s Noah in the romantic comedy series that’s back for season two on October 23, showed her approval over Shepard’s post by throwing it a like, as did fellow celebrities including Nina Dobrev and Gwyneth Paltrow.

“Hahahaha yesssss go girl ! suns out buns out for that Emmy!!!,” commented Dobrev, 36, while Paltrow simply wrote, “Oh my God, Dax.”

Shepard’s Parenthood costar Mae Whitman also commented, “Incredible form.”

The actor revealed during the March 24 episode of “Armchair Expert” that he and his family aren’t “hung up on nudity.” (Bell and Shepard share two daughters, Lincoln, 11, and Delta, 10.)

Shepard added during the chat, which featured guest Ike Barinholtz, that parents should probably stop being naked around the children when they grow into teenagers. “My policy is that’ll decide that, because in Europe, they don’t give a f***.”

In February, Bell spoke about the trust she shares with Shepard, which extends to filming love scenes as part of both party’s line of work. Speaking to E! News at the time, Bell said she knows her husband will remain loyal. “Even if Dax hooks up with the most beautiful person in the world at work, I know he’s committed to our family,” Bell gushed. “I know he’s coming home. I know he loves our children. I know he strives to be a great husband and father.”

Speaking directly to her own onscreen chemistry with Brody, 45, Bell noted that they’re firmly friend-zoned when cameras stop rolling. “Dax knows there’s no real threat there, because Adam and I, if you were to see us in person, there is not chemistry,” she told the outlet at the time. “We bicker all the time. We’re like an old granny and grampy. It’s not hot and heavy on set at all.” (Brody is married to Leighton Meester and the couple share two children of their own together.)

Bell and Shepard met in 2017 at a mutual friend’s birthday party, however sparks flew when they ran into one another again at a hockey game a few weeks later. Bell told Today during a 2019 episode, “[We] started to flirt, left, and then a day after that I get a text that says ‘Hi, my name is Dax. I violated your privacy and got your number from Shauna. How do you feel about that?’ And I was like, ‘Excuse me? You sound stimulating.’ The only thing that I remember is that he talked so much. I was like: ‘This guy can talk!’ I fell in love with him way before he fell in love with me.”
