Love Island USA is one of the rare shows releasing episodes nearly in real time, which means editing and continuity mistakes are bound to happen.
After the Thursday, June 27, episode from Casa Amor week, a viewer shared a TikTok video of an obvious error that made it into the final cut, writing, “Love Island do better. Looking for quality assurance for next season, let me know!”
The clip showed the aftermath of Olandria Carthen returning to the villa after Taylor Williams coupled up with newcomer Clarke Carraway. After some advice from Olandria’s new partner, Nic Vansteenberghe, Taylor pulled her for a chat — while Clarke watched. But even though the interaction happened all at once, somehow Clarke switched swimsuits between the two frames.
In the comments section, fellow fans weighed in on the mistake. “I don’t be paying attention,” read a reply while another social media user joked, “I think they fired the editors to fund the Meg the Stallion cameo.”

There was another detail that caught someone’s eye. “YES AND it shows the bar stools completely empty while coco is cooking right before it shows Clarke in that brown swimsuit on the bar stool???”
Love Island USA viewers have had lots of opinions about this season of the hit Peacock series. While the Islanders are filming nonstop for weeks, viewers are watching daily episodes — and even get to cast votes that affect couples and the fate of the contestants.

Season 7 has received backlash though from fans getting too invested in the drama playing out on screen. That has resulted in invasive behavior such as contacting Islanders’ loved ones, which caused Peacock to step in with a statement.
“The keyword in Love Island is … love. We love our fans. We love our islanders,” read a message displayed halfway through the Tuesday, June 24, episode. We don’t love cyberbullying, harassment or hate,” the message concluded.
Host Ariana Madix also issued a message for those Love Island USA viewers who are taking things too far when expressing their frustrations.

“I do want to say something to some of those people who are online,” Ariana, 40, said during the Saturday, June 21, episode of Aftersun. “Don’t be contacting people’s families. Don’t be doxxing people.”
Ariana called out behavior she was seeing on social media.
“Don’t be going on Islanders’ pages and saying rude things. You still have time to delete all of that because the islanders don’t have their phones,” Ariana noted. “So we are giving you a chance because this is a fun, amazing and beautiful show. We should be thanking each one of these islanders every single day for giving us themselves.”
New episodes of Love Island USA are released six days a week — except for Wednesdays — on Peacock.
