Ella Langley revealed she is taking a break amid her Still Hungover Tour, cancelling several dates to rest and get back to a healthy place.
“I’m so sad to be posting this. The past several weeks have been tough,” Langley, 26, wrote in an Instagram statement on Monday, August 11. “I’ve been fighting sickness and feeling more run down than ever.”
The “Nicotine” singer explained, “After a lot of thought, I’ve made the hard decision to take a couple of weeks to rest and focus on my health — mind, body and heart.”
She noted, “I want to be fully present for all the moments ahead and I know I can’t do that without first taking care of myself.”

Langley further shared, “Sometimes we have to listen when our bodies and hearts are telling us to slow down. I’m so grateful for your understanding and your love — it truly means the world to me.”
The Alabama native posted a bible verse from Matthew 11:28 to remind her followers to take rest when needed. “‘Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest,’” the verse read.

Langley apologized to her fans for having to cancel her remaining August show dates, which include performances in Cleveland, Nashville, Bonner-West Riverside, Montana, Idaho Falls, Idaho, Nampa, Idaho, and Morrison, Colorado.
“I’ll be back on the road in September, ready to give you my all,” she promised.

Langley’s surprising announcement comes one week after she celebrated the one-year anniversary of her debut album, Hungover, which she released in August 2024.
The album launched her superstardom nearly overnight after she previously dropped her first EP one year prior in May 2023 called Excuse the Mess.

Langley has been riding a high in country music over the past year with the success of Hungover, winning New Female Artist of the Year at the 2025 Academy of Country Music Awards. She also brought home the trophies for Single of the Year, Musical Event of the Year and Visual Media of the Year, all for her song “You Look Like You Love Me” with Riley Green at the same awards show.

Langley headlined her first solo tour in 2024 in support of the album called the Hungover Tour. This year, the country singer has been headlining the Still Hungover Tour and joining Green, 36, for multiple stops on his Damn Country Music Tour.
Earlier this month, Langley toasted her success while still on the road.
“One whole year of Hungover. This record has changed my life,” she wrote via Instagram on August 2. “Thank you to everyone who helped bring this record to life & to everyone who has listened since. Here’s to the next .”
