Emily Blunt is known for her signature red hair in The Devil Wears Prada, but the sequel will see her embracing her inner ice queen with a bold new ‘do.
Blunt, 42, looked straight out of a magazine while filming in the Upper East Side of New York City on Thursday, August 14, sporting a fresh and eye-catching platinum blonde look.
In the newly released set photos, the actress wore a fierce ensemble consisting of a black-and-red collared “NY” top that pays homage to the Big Apple paired with a tie, high-waisted shorts, sheer tights and designer sunglasses. Blunt’s character took it up a notch with a statement lip.
Blunt reprises her quick-witted role of Emily Charlton in The Devil Wears Prada 2.

It was just two weeks ago that she was spotted sporting a revived crimson mane while filming the highly anticipated sequel, clad in a pinstriped outfit with a lace-up bodice on July 29.
Blunt has been seen getting into character alongside costars Anne Hathaway — who returns as style maven Andy Sachs — and Meryl Streep, known for her iconic portrayal of razor-sharp magazine editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly.

Fans are counting down the days until the fierce fashionistas reunite in the sequel to the 2006 film, which is set for release in May 2026.
This time around, Priestly competes with Blunt’s character, now a high-powered executive for a luxury group, as reported by Variety.

“Why are Meryl and I so mean to each other in every movie we do?,” Blunt quipped to Entertainment Tonight in June. “We always have beef with each other. I don’t know what it is. Let’s hope we remedy it. I’m not sure.”
“20 years ago — in a blink, it’s gone by,” Blunt added that the 20 years since the original 2006 film have gone by in a “blink,” hinting that the new film could turn into a family affair.

Her daughters, Hazel, 11, and Violet, 9, who she shares with husband John Krasinski, would likely be very enthusiastic about visiting her at work. “I think they would quite like to go to set,” she spilled. “Just for the fashion.”
