How Jeremy Allen White Supported Molly Gordon at ‘Oh, Hi!’ Film Screening

Just one month after the premiere of season 4 of The Bear, Jeremy Allen White supported his onscreen — and rumored offscreen — love interest, Molly Gordon, at a screening of her new film, Oh, Hi!

White, 34, joined Sony Pictures Classics and The Cinema Society for a screening of the romantic comedy, which also stars Logan Lerman, at the Roxy Cinema, as well as an afterparty at Jimmy on Tuesday, July 22.

The Shameless alum was spotted chatting with Gordon, 29, one-on-one for most of the night at the intimate rooftop soiree before the duo joined a larger group of partygoers, including Owen Thiele and Lerman, 33. Gordon later left the function solo.

White and Gordon portray Carmy and Claire, respectively, on the Emmy-winning FX series The Bear, and viewers have been vocal about their strong feelings on the fictional couple’s tumultuous relationship (see: freezer scene).

Real-life romance rumors swirled around the actors in September 2024 when they were spotted sharing a kiss and getting into a car together. A month later, they were photographed on an evening walk together in New York City, though they’ve kept it low-key since then.

In response to fans’ reactions to the kissing photos, Gordon told Vanity Fair just last month, “With the internet, I just think — I even see it in myself as a fan of things — we’re just a more judgmental society.”

While she doesn’t often publicly speak about her relationship history, Gordon — along with director Sophie Brooks — poured her past heartbreak and frustration with love into her role in Oh, Hi!

Opposite Lerman as Isaac, Gordon plays Iris in the film, who finds herself in a legally dubious situation when her boyfriend admits he doesn’t want to be in a relationship while handcuffed to the bed during sex. Faced with the prospect of losing Isaac, Iris panics and leaves him cuffed until she — and friends Max (Geraldine Viswanathan) and Kenny (John Reynolds) — can figure out what to do.

Viswanathan, 30, plays Gordon’s ride-or-die in the movie — and she admitted to Us she would go to extreme lengths for the actress in real life, as well.

“I have gone to do something extreme for Molly,” the Thunderbolts actress told Us at the screening of the craziest thing she’s done on behalf of a girlfriend. “There was an ex who was lurking around and I haven’t gotten my chance yet, but I’ve come very close to really giving him a piece of my mind. It’s yet to actually materialize, but I have it planned out.”
