Jennifer Aniston is all about spending time with her closest friends.

Aniston, 56, hosts a dinner every Sunday night with 10-15 of her pals, as revealed in her profile for Vanity Fair published on Monday, August 11. The dinners often include Jason Bateman, his wife, Amanda Anka, and their daughters, Francesca, 18, and Maple, 13, as well as Jimmy Kimmel and his wife, Molly McNearney. Aniston sits at the head of the table, while her guests typically sit in the same seats every week.

According to Bateman, also 56, the parties often served Aniston’s favorite Mexican cuisine until her friends convinced her to “broaden her menus.”

“She stumbled upon a burger that is almost identical to the In-N-Out burger,” Bateman explained, referring to the California fast food chain. “She actually found some company to print up a bunch of the papers that are wrapped around the burgers with ‘Jen-N-Out’ on it. It looks exactly like the logo. You can either have the beef or chicken, the lettuce or a bun around it. Then usually one of us will bring dessert.”

Bateman, who met Aniston while he was starring with one of her friends on the 1995 sitcom Simon, also said that the We’re the Millers actress is great with his kids.

“She almost makes us parents look bad because she’s so incredibly attentive and consistent with her curiosity and warmth,” he continued. “She’s the first one to call or text about big dates in the girls’ lives. She has questions about boyfriends.”

Bateman even said that Aniston is a step above an aunt.

“Aunts you might not see all the time. She’s almost closer to a co-mom with Amanda. She’s been a part of their lives from the moment they were born,” he explained. “It is odd for them to even understand the public Jennifer Aniston.”

After meeting Bateman in her 20s, Aniston told the outlet that he’s part of her “chosen family.” In addition to spending their free time together, the pair has costarred in five films, including both Horrible Bosses movies, The Switch, The Break-Up and Office Christmas Party.

“Sometimes you look back at the person you were in your 20s, and you don’t recognize that person or those people around you … But we’ve grown up together,” she added.

Aniston also gushed about Adam Sandler, another close friend whom she met through a mutual friend in her early 20s.

“Anything that happens in my life that he hears about, he’s one of the first people that I hear from. He would lay down on the tracks for me,” she said of Sandler, 58, who has costarred with her in Just Go With It and both Murder Mystery films.

Aniston concluded, “As we’re getting older, I think we’re realizing that quality of time spent is probably at the top of the what’s-important list for us.”
