Kate Gosselin Confirms Daughter Hannah Has ‘Always’ Been in Contact With Her

Despite rumors claiming otherwise, Kate Gosselin confirmed her daughter Hannah is very much still a part of her life.

In a TikTok video posted on Thursday, August 14, Kate, 50, explained that Hannah — one of the sextuplets she shares with ex-husband Jon Gosselin — helped her create an Amazon storefront.

“Hannah just called me and helped me get an Amazon list together of all the things that I have mentioned and people keep asking me for, so guess what? It’s on my TikTok profile thing now,” Kate shared. “I know! I’m really excited, because I was asking her for help. She’s really good.”

Some of her followers were surprised at Kate’s mention of Hannah, as reports have circulated that the two were estranged after she decided to live with her dad, Jon. Kate, however, shot down the rumors in the comments section.

“I didn’t even know Hannah still spoke to you,” one follower wrote, to which Kate responded, “Yep! Always has! Don’t believe what you hear out there, constantly being shoved down your throat .”

Kate and Jon, 48, rose to fame in the early 2000s with their TLC show, Jon & Kate Plus 8, which showed their lives with their eight kids: twins Mady and Cara, now 24, and sextuplets Collin, Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Leah and Joel, now 21. After Jon and Kate split in 2009, the show was renamed to Kate Plus 8.

Amid the duo’s bitter divorce, Hannah and her brother Collin moved in with their dad full time, while the other six children relocated to North Carolina with their mom. Collin has been vocal about his troubled relationship with Kate, even alleging in October 2024 that she was physically abusive throughout his childhood.

“It was rough. I definitely went through it a lot as a kid from my mother’s end. So, it was tough,” Collin claimed during an interview with The U.S. Sun at the time. “I just remember being isolated from my siblings and constantly taking the fall for her emotions or the tough things going on in her life.”

He alleged that Kate put him in an isolation room “multiple times” when he was younger, further claiming that she allegedly “zip-tied my hands and feet together and bolt-locked the door, turned the lights off and had cameras there just watching me.”

Kate has denied all the allegations against her.

For his part, Jon reportedly has no contact with his kids, aside from Collin and Hannah. He told Us Weekly in October 2024 that Hannah speaks with her siblings, while Collin does not.

“Collin will hopefully repair that [relationship],” Jon told Us at the time. “It’s a two way street. You know what I mean? He’s offered the olive branch, so hopefully the olive branch will be returned.”

As for Jon’s thoughts on the allegations against Kate, he stood by his son, telling TMZ last year that Collin is “moving forward” but likely wouldn’t have a conversation with Kate because there’s “so much animosity.”

“He’s doing really well,” he added. “That was like closure for him, I believe.”
