Kylie Kelce has a good reason for not bringing her daughters to a Kansas City Chiefs game to cheer on their uncle, tight end Travis Kelce.
“The girls have not yet been to an Uncle Trav game just because a lot of opportunities that we’ve had to go and support Trav have been, even just last year, a lot of Monday nights,” Kylie, 33, told People in an interview published on Monday, August 11.
Kylie shares four children with her husband, former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce: Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finnley, 4 months.
“I think two different Monday Night Football opportunities,” Kylie continued. “But as anyone knows, an 8:00 p.m. start is not conducive to a 5, 4, and 2-year-old. We’re not tagging in on that, so maybe we’ll get out there for a nice 1:00 p.m. Sunday with the girls.”

Kylie, a devout Eagles fan even after her husband’s 2024 retirement, also said that Travis’ position on the Chiefs as a tight end makes the games a little more engaging to watch. Travis was selected by the team in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft. The year was also the first under current coach Andy Reid.
“In the position that he’s in, it’s a little more fluid, it’s a little more exciting. It’s not necessarily the trenches, which I would watch so closely when Jason was playing, so it adds a level of excitement,” Kylie pointed out. “We are, as always, cheering on Uncle Trav through and through all season.”

Travis is heading into his 13th season in the NFL — a major accomplishment and the same number of seasons his big brother Jason played before exiting the league.
“We are just so excited to get to cheer him on. We know how hard he’s working and it’s exciting to still have someone in the league close to the family to cheer on,” Kylie said of her brother-in-law. “Obviously, we have friends who are like family that are still in the league, but it’s so much fun to cheer on Trav.”

Kylie also said that raising daughters in a time when women’s sports are surging in terms of popularity is “so cool.”
“I’m so excited for what’s on the horizon for them,” she elaborated. “I’m so excited for them to be within this generation of girls who are given the opportunity to be coached by people who are putting the body confidence sport program in place.”
