Meghan Markle Shares Thanks to Friends After Several 44th Birthday Wishes

Meghan Markle didn’t celebrate her 44th birthday with a social media post, but the Duchess of Sussex shared messages of gratitude to friends who commemorated her big day.

Fellow Suits alum Abigail Spencer shared a sweet post to her birthday twin on Monday, August 4.

“As glorious as the day I met you. Champagne in human form. A creature unlike any other,” the actress captioned an Instagram post. “Thank you for being a sister in this life, and beyond. Words can’t capture. From the rooftops. So grateful for your life, @meghan. Thanks for saving mine.”

Meghan was quick to add a comment of her own.

“Thank you, sweet Abs!” she wrote. “Right back at you, and happy birthday to YOU!”

Both Kelly McKee Zajfen and Tracy Robbins also offered happy birthday messages to Meghan. The As Ever founder responded to both with a message of thanks and a series of heart emojis.

Days earlier, Markle’s brand As Ever — which launched in April — revealed plans to restock their wine on Tuesday, August 5.

“Oh, how we love seeing the world through rose colored glasses. Rosé colored glasses? Perhaps even better,” a Wednesday, July 30, Instagram post from As Ever read. “Our new vintage of As Ever’s beloved rosé is available next week.”

Customers also received an email newsletter on Wednesday with additional details.

“We hope you’ve been having a beautiful summer — enjoying the adventure of travel or the calm of home, finding beauty in the little things, and perhaps trying something new,” the message said. “On that note, many of you were able to try our debut 2023 Napa Valley Rosé, and we were over the moon to hear your feedback.”

According to the newsletter, the wine “won blind taste tests as ‘the best rosé’” and was “coined ‘The IT drink of summer.’”

“Wow, we thought. And thank you, we say,” the email continued. “This affirmed all of the love, time and effort our team, and our founder, poured into curating this blend to evoke the sun-drenched spirit of Napa Valley, and the breathtaking tenor of the California Coast. Thank you for filling our cup.”

As Ever’s new 2024 Napa Valley Rosé “marries the same harmony of notes from our first blend and creates an elegant medley of delicate yet memorable flavor,” the newsletter teased. “You’ll want to clink glasses with friends as the sun sets, toasting to a summer of joy. Barefoot or in sandals, dressed up or dressed down, this rosé may become your favorite accessory for alfresco lunches and dinners at dusk.”

In addition to focusing on her thriving business, Meghan has celebrated several milestones with sentimental Instagram posts this year after rejoining the platform in January.

“Our son. Our sun. Happy 6th birthday to Archie!” she captioned a May photo of her and Prince Harry’s eldest child staring at a sunset. “Thank you for all of the love, prayers and warm wishes for our sweet boy. He’s 6! Where did the time go? (And for all of you who came to celebrate with us at his party last weekend, thank you for making his birthday so incredibly special ).”

Later that month, Meghan marked her and Harry’s wedding anniversary with a bulletin board of photos from their relationship.

“Seven years of marriage. A lifetime of stories,” she gushed. “Thanks to all of you (whether by our side, or from afar) who have loved and supported us throughout our love story — we appreciate you. Happy anniversary! .”

In June, Meghan shared never-before-seen pictures of herself and Harry, 40, with their daughter, Lilibet, as she turned 4.

“Happy birthday to our beautiful girl!” she wrote. “Four years ago today she came into our lives — and each day is brighter and better because of it. Thanks to all of those sending love and celebrating her special day!”

In a separate post, Meghan described Harry and Lilibet’s relationship as “the sweetest bond to watch unfold,” adding, “Daddy’s little girl and favorite adventurer.”
