Pedro Pascal keeps his love life close to the vest, but that hasn’t stopped fans from wondering if — or who — he’s dating.

While rumors have swirled that he’s romanced a few stars throughout his career, nothing has ever been confirmed. When the topic came up in a January 2023 interview, Pascal compared the idea of love to his The Last of Us character, Joel Miller.

“I think what’s scary about Joel is that none of us really know what we’d be capable of if faced with the idea of losing love,” he told Wired at the time. “Whether it’s conscious or unconscious, being alive or even being a human being is directly connected to the love you feel.”

Pascal continued to muse about love during the same Wired interview.

“Existing is connected to the love you feel toward a particular relationship — your child, your partner — and to lose that?” he added. “Some people are not capable of applying rational thought to that kind of loss, or the threat of that loss, or the threat of that loss again, right?”

“I avoid all of it by not having kids,” he stated. “And staying out of relationships.”

During a September 2017 interview with The Los Angeles Times, Pascal reacted to a Reddit group called “Gay For Oberyn,” which was full of straight men who loved his Game of Thrones character.

“It’s so wonderful. I think it’s all a spectrum, right? Straight men can have — do have — crushes on other men. It doesn’t make them gay, it doesn’t make them bi,” he said at the time. “I was super-flattered. The guys that picked on me in middle school in Corona del Mar probably have a crush on me now.
