Detroit Tigers pitcher Jack Flaherty and his girlfriend, soccer star Katie Johnson, gave a glimpse into their red-hot romance.
Flaherty, 29, shared two photo booth reels via his Instagram Story on Wednesday, August 13, showing the couple in various stages of a makeout session.
The baseball star’s tongue featured heavily in the images, with Flaherty licking Johnson’s neck in one photo and Johnson, 30, biting his tongue in another.
Johnson originally shared the spicy photos to her Instagram on Wednesday alongside a heart emoji.

Flaherty and Johnson made their relationship official in July, when the former Angel City FC forward shared pictures of a date night at esteemed Napa Valley restaurant The French Laundry via Instagram.
“Wined and dined ,” Johnson captioned the carousel of photos, which featured the couple posing together outside of the restaurant and a behind-the-scenes look at the kitchen.
Johnson announced her retirement from professional soccer in December 2024. In addition to her two seasons with Angel City FC, she spent time with the National Women’s Soccer League’s Seattle Reign, Sky Blue FC, Chicago Red Stars and San Diego Wave.

Though she was born in California, Johnson also represented the Mexican national team due to her mother, Esther Carreón, being born in the country.
Flaherty signed a two-year, $35 million contract to return to the Tigers in February after the team traded him to the Los Angeles Dodgers in July 2024, where he would win a World Series title with the franchise.
He spent the first seven seasons of his MLB career with the St. Louis Cardinals before being traded to the Baltimore Orioles in August 2023. Flaherty signed his first deal with the Tigers in December 2023.

Flaherty shares a close bond with his mother, Eileen Flaherty, who adopted Jack when he was three weeks old and raised him as a single parent.
“Thank you for instilling the idea of greatness in me, not because of who I am, but because of who you are,” Jack wrote in a Mother’s Day tribute via Instagram in May. “Every step of the way you’ve shown me what it means to be determined and pursue one’s goals relentlessly. You are selfless, hard-working, caring and loving — you are a friend and mother to everyone you encounter.”
Jack added, “From your countless volunteer roles when I was in Little League to giving up weekends, holidays, and especially many Mother’s Days, you have always sacrificed in order to help me put in the work that was necessary to reach my goals.”
