Zac Brown Says 'Anywhere Is Home' With Girlfriend Kendra Scott

Zac Brown and girlfriend Kendra Scott are mad about each other, and they aren’t afraid to let the world know it.

Scott, 51, took to Instagram on Friday, June 27, to share several photos of herself and Brown, 46. In one snap, the fashion designer leaned in close to the musician and kissed him on the cheek, while another photo showed Brown doing the same to Scott.

“Whenever I’m with you, I ain’t worried about it. @zacbrown ,” Scott wrote in the caption, quoting Zac Brown Band’s newest song, “I Ain’t Worried About It.”

Brown left a sweet message for Scott in the comments section, writing, “Such a lady. So much of the world to explore, but anywhere is home with you.”

Scott and Brown debuted their romance at the 2025 American Music Awards on May 26. The couple walked the red carpet together ahead of the ceremony, with Brown wearing a black suit and wide-brimmed black hat. Meanwhile, Scott sported a silver gown.

“Hit the @amas red carpet with the best date by my side,” Brown captioned photos from the event via Instagram. “Ready to soak it all in and have some fun tonight!”

Meanwhile, Scott wrote in her own post, “What an unforgettable night at the @amas! We danced, we laughed, and seeing Zac honored with the inaugural Veteran’s Voice Award was the highlight of it all. @zacbrown, I’m so incredibly proud of you — of your heart, your service, and the man you are. You couldn’t deserve this more.”

Zac and his band were nominated for Favorite Country Duo or Group at the awards show, which took place at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas. Though Dan + Shay took home that particular accolade, Brown was named the first-ever recipient of the Veterans Voice Award, which recognizes artists who have supported the veteran community.

After the pair’s red carpet debut, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that Scott and Brown met through a mutual friend and bonded over their love of giving back and family values.

“That shared family value has been a big part of their connection,” the insider said. “They’re not just partners — they’re teammates.”

The source noted that the AMAs marked a new step in their relationship after Scott and Brown spent a few months getting to know each other.

“We’ve all known them for such a long time, and honestly, we’ve never seen them like this before,” the source added.

Brown’s relationship with Scott comes after his split from estranged wife Kelly Yazdi. The former couple announced in December 2023 that they were separating after four months of marriage.

“We are in the process of divorce. Our mutual respect for one another remains,” the exes said in a joint statement at the time. “We wish each other the best and will always appreciate our time together. As we navigate this personal matter, we simply request privacy during this time.”

Prior to his marriage to Yazdi, 34, Brown was married to ex-wife Shelly Brown. The pair, who share five kids together, called it quits in 2018 after 12 years of marriage.
